Tips for Intention Setting with Your Kids

Intention Setting with your kids. It can definitely be a challenge. But as we all get ready for Back to School, it's a great time to start.

So, here are a few tips for getting the littles to be intentional.

Number 1 - Ask Questions

You will be surprised at how in tune your kids are to their wants and needs.

Number 2 - Don't Downplay What's Important to Them

Let your kids say what's on their mind, what they want out of school, and their year. Remember, what they want may seem trivial to you, but it's their intention, not yours.

Number 3 - Help Them with Their Vision

Make a fun activity around intention setting. Design vision boards together, color pictures, write in a journal. Creativity allows the spirit to soar and intentions to stick.

Number 4 - Encourage Their Desires

As parents, we usually champion our kids however we can, but we all know how fleeting a child's interest may be. And that's okay. Allow your child to explore all the ideas they can. You never know when inspiration will strike and they will blossom into the person they were born to be.

Put these four steps to work with your kids throughout their school year and see how mindful they become.
