We all have the best of intentions when we set our intentions, but how many of them actually stick? If you do this one simple trick, I can guarantee ALL of them will come to fruition.

Over the weekend, my friend and I were talking about my business when all of a sudden, she had a major aha! moment.

A former culinary graduate, she had numerous cookbooks stored in her home, yet she had neglected them for a long time. But over the last few weeks, she had started picking them up, browsing recipes, and thinking to herself, “I should try some of these.”

The thought seemed simple enough, until we started talking about intentions a few days later.

We were mid-conversation when she stopped and realized, oh my god, I wrote down my intention to start cooking again in January. I totally forgot about it until now.

It was June.

Goosebumps formed on her arms, and she was in shock as she realized, a forgotten intention was manifesting right before her very eyes, almost 6 months after she set it.

Although saying her intention was forgotten, I would argue, isn’t quite accurate. The very fact that she wrote down her intention solidified it and gave it up to the universe for execution. Just because she didn’t start cooking the week after she wrote it, didn’t mean that it was lost, it just took a little time to appear.

The moral of the story is, don’t give up on your intentions. Write them down. Own them. And maybe tomorrow, the next day, or in a year or two, I promise they will be realized.
