MOTIVATION IS THAT THING THAT MAKES US WANT TO GET UP AND MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. IT’S WHAT POWERS OUR INTENTIONAL UNDERTAKINGS.

AND IT’S WHAT KEEPS US PUSHING THROUGH THICK AND THIN.


BUT…

WHAT IF YOU’RE BEING MOTIVATED BY THE WRONG THINGS?

WHAT IF YOU’RE COMING AT YOUR INTENTIONS ALL WRONG?


I BET YOU’LL FIND YOUR MOTIVATION SLIPPING BEFORE YOU EVEN KNOW IT.


WE HAVE TO BE MINDFUL OF WHAT IS MOTIVATING US TO ACHIEVE OUR DREAMS. WHEN WE AREN’T WE TURN INTO THAT “NEEDY BOYFRIEND OR GIRLFRIEND.” WE CHASE, AS OPPOSED TO ATTRACT. WE PUSH AWAY WHAT WE SEEK INSTEAD OF DRAW IT ORGANICALLY INTO OUR LIVES.


SO, FOR EXAMPLE, INSTEAD OF SAYING YOU WANT TO BUILD A BILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS. GET CLEAR WITH WHAT THAT BUSINESS IS. WHY YOU WANT TO BUILD IT. WHY YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR IT.


WHEN YOU’RE PASSIONATE, PROUD AND MINDFUL OF WHAT YOU WANT OR ARE CALLED TO DO IN YOUR LIFE, THEN THE MOTIVATION WILL BE AUTHENTIC. IT WON’T WANE. AND THE REWARDS WILL COME TO YOU, AS OPPOSED TO YOU TRYING TO GO TO THEM.


AND THIS GOES FOR ANYTHING. MIND, BODY AND SOUL.
